Our Story

Founded by Geraldine Ohene-Adjei, a seasoned early childhood educator and mother, A Child’s Second Look was born from a passion for creating quality care that feels like home. Geraldine holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings over 15 years of experience—including operating a licensed dayhome and leading teams in childcare center management. What started as a dream to offer better options for working families has grown into a trusted, licensed program recognized for warmth, professionalism, and excellence in early learning.

Our Team

Our staff are more than qualified—they’re compassionate, engaged, and deeply committed to supporting each child’s unique journey. Every member of our team is trained in First Aid and CPR, and undergoes regular professional development to stay current with early childhood best practices. We build strong relationships with families and work together to create consistent care between home and daycare.
